Its been awhile...

Every Spring when things are starting to bloom I get really excited and can't wait to blog about it. Then my spring and summers get crazy busy and when fall rolls around I found that the blog I excitedly created at the beginning of the growing season only has one post. I did that again this year. Rather than continuing the cycle next summer I thought I'd just post pics of my fav plants through out the winter. It will be refreshing to think of green, blooming things this long cold winter!

Salvia 'Eveline' PP14905

Eveline was definitely my favorite perennial Salvia that I saw this year! It was selected by Piet Oudolf, one of my fav plants man. Check out his website http://www.oudolf.com/ and enjoy the photos of his beautiful gardens! The bloom power on Eveline was awesome, and it stood upright through windy storms. I love the combination with Dianthus 'Tiny Rubies' and Viola 'Purple Showers'.
